this zine was originally made for guests of the first ever vancouver friends of furby meetup event, which was held on may 19th, 2024 in downtown vancouver (intentionally within close proximity to VANCAF).

furbycoven is the online handle of tuesday ferguson, which began as a fanart/photo account for their longtime special interest in these friendly animatronic creatures.

vancouver friends of furby is a fan club/series of meetup events/attempt at bringing play, whimsy, and community building to a city that is often alienating for anyone who isn't a condo developer.
